– Preparation and sharpening of tools
– Theory and use of planes in cabinetmaking (as a practice, we will make a bench hook)
– The mortise-and-tenon joint in various modalities
– Dovetailing
– Hand-applied finishes: oils, shellac, acrylic, preparation and application of wax.

You’ll need to bring three chisels (6mm, 12mm, 20mm or similar) and one plane blade for the sharpening practice. Don’t hesitate to contact me for guidance on brands and types. You can also purchase those tools directly from me, and you’ll receive them when you attend the course (I am an associate partner of Dictum Werkzeuge GMbH).

– Reservation is made upon the course purchase. You can optionally make your reservation upon a 50% (€400) payment. This payment is non-refundable: if you cannot attend, your place will be transferred to the next edition or other courses of your choice. Booking implies acceptance of the terms and conditions.

– Payment for the remaining 50% will be made at least 30 days before the start of the workshop. If you do not meet this deadline, your reservation will be postponed to the next call.

– For billing reasons, I must ask for your information (Name, address and ID number). This information will be used only for billing and remain confidential and protected according to current state and European regulations. Please feel free to consult the privacy policy on my website.

– If you are a professional client in Spain, let me know before payment to apply the corresponding tax withholding.

– If you leave your place empty without prior notice, you will not be able to recover the hours lost or the cost of the course.

– Days lost due to non-attendance cannot be recovered.
